·         The Letters are up on the Herbertsville Road Sign.

·         The irrigation system s running 55 minutes 6 day weekly.

·         We are doing our best to keep the water  on.  We cannot exceed the 1.3 million gallons we are allocated a month, going over the allotment can result in a fine.  In June 2009 we had 7.4 inches of rain.  In June of 2010 we had 1.54 inches of rain.  We are hoping for rain to help the lawns.

·         There was a robbery in the community.

ARC, Art Pantaleone

The ARC committee did not have any applications this month.

            SOCIAL/CLUBHOUSE, Diane Ewing

The Social Committee met last Saturday and there will be events coming.

·         Mary McLaughlin is still researching cleaning the ballroom floor.

Pool, Ray Patnaude

·         The water line in the pool is not clean enough.  Kathy & I spoke to John from Candlewood and they will be using a better scrub brush.

·          The Veranda tables will be hosed down in addition to the pool side tables by the life guards and Colleen, the cleaning woman will wipe them down as part of her responsibilities, when she cleans the clubhouse.

VIII.    BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS

George Fencik:  reviewed the township’s single stream recycling rules.  Pizza boxes should be broken down and thrown in the garbage

             OPEN Q & A SESSION:

Q         Why were the 2 picnic tables moved under the trees in the cul-de-sac??

A         They couldn’t mow under them.

Q         Can anyone use the BBQ grills?  What are they used for?

A         The grills were used for the 4th of July parties in the past.  They were recently used for the 4th of July party this year.  The gas on the grills has to be turned on and the grills have to be cleaned.  It really isn’t feasible for individual use.

Q         Mr. Hannah:  The Campion’s cat got out.  It’s a black cat that weighs 21 lbs.  If anyone sees it I will hold on to it until the Campion’s come home.

Q         Can the streets be swept by the Township?

A         We will call to have them cleaned.

Q         Can Lily Lane be swept?

A         Yes.

Q         Ann Keenan stood and thanked the board for all they have done for the community while she has lived here.  Ann said she is moving on the 15th of the month and she loved living at Cedar Village.

A         Thank you Ann, for everything you have done for the community.

Q         Can the landscaper do a better job?

A         They can’t weed whack near the wires.  We will tell Tom to get a closer cut.

Q         A landscaper worker (Tom’s son) was rude to a resident.

A         We will let Tom know, that is not acceptable.

George Fencik asked if there were any other questions. There were none.
